1. Playbook
Do you have a favourite athlete or social media influencer? Ever wish you could find out what their daily fitness regimens were so you could follow? Well, Playbook is here to grant that wish! Playbook, previously Fitner, allows you to choose a trainer, social media influencer, or athlete, to be “paired” with. 3. Keelo
If you cite time as your go-to excuse for not exercising, put it to rest with the Keelo app. I’m sure you can spare 7-20 minutes to workout! Which is what Keelo does: provide you with fast-paced bodyweight and equipment workouts, that can be done both in the gym or at home. So get rid of your excuses, and get rid of those calories! 4. Nike+ Run Club
Having been in the game for far longer than most, Nike has become a staple for many athletes worldwide. It thus follows that Nike would enter the app market strong with the Nike+ Run Club app, which has a few functions catered to runners. 5. MyPlate by Livestrong
In terms of nutrition, MyPlate by Livestrong is a great app to have in your repertoire of well-being apps. What’s the best thing about it? Well, it provides detailed eight-week meal plans for free, and these plans are tailored to your goals and eating preferences. And it’s very simple to do so! Just start a meal plan, pick a starting date(which is always a Monday), and the apps will update you daily. You needn’t even worry about your grocery lists as the app will remind you. There are also quick workouts on the app for those short on time but requiring a workout. For your overall fitness planning and tracking needs, 8fit is one of the best out there. This app is meticulous, to say the least, in its approach to creating the best experience for you. Based largely on your preferences, 8fit creates custom exercises and meal plans. Deriving the plans with the information you feed it, needless to say, this app covers all ground to suit your healthy lifestyle requirements. When logging workouts, the options are nigh endless, allowing you to track your exercises accurately. It even takes into account any sexual activity you may have! Preset workouts are also available. 7. Couch to 5K & Run training
Just like what it says, this app is designed to take you off the couch and bring you to complete your first 5K. It’s quite simple, and all you need is just 20-30 minutes a day, three days a week. And after 9 weeks, if you’ve been following the schedule, you should be ready to complete your first 5K. The app contains virtual coaches to help you and also performance trackers.
