When you are going on a cruise, or perhaps working on a cruise ship, it’s hard to say fit and healthy. It’s not surprising that you’d gain unwanted pounds after a couple of days or months. Choose the right food

Or go for healthy fish like salmon and tuna. We are not saying that you should deprive yourself of eating mouthwatering steaks and burgers. But make sure that you limit it.

Hydrate

Never forget to hydrate. Drinking water, as we all know, has a lot of benefits. We recommend bringing a bottle with you everywhere you go. In addition, go and order drinks that can quench your thirst. Coconut water sounds amazing. How about some pineapple juice with that little umbrella on the side? Your choices are almost limitless.

Choose the right type of alcohol

We wouldn’t stop you from drinking alcohol. After all, you deserve to have some fun. However, please make sure that you drink in moderation. And if you can, choose wine and cocktails over beer. Lastly, you can schedule your drinking session perhaps every other night and not every night.

Take advantage of onboard activities

There are a lot of activities that you can do onboard that are beneficial for your health. You can swim, use the gym, jog, or even go to the spa for some amazing relaxation.

Go out and enjoy more activities
